Owner Enables Mobile Login
In the owner web app, go to Settings → Mobile Login and toggle Staff OTP login. You control exactly which employees are allowed to sign in.
Staff Log In With Phone & OTP
The delivery person enters their mobile number and types the 6-digit SMS code. The session stays logged in between shifts with silent token refresh.
One Tap per Stop to Mark
They see only their stops for today in route order. Tap Delivered, adjust quantity if partial, or tap Undelivered with a mandatory reason. Everything syncs live.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Staff App
Is the delivery person app free?
Yes. It is a free companion app included with Dairy Dash; there is no per-delivery-person charge for your staff.
Do my delivery staff need an email address?
No. They log in simply with their mobile number and a 6-digit one-time password (OTP). No email or password to create or remember.
Can a delivery person see prices or customer bills?
No. They only see customer name, address, phone, product and quantity for today's route. Prices, customer discounts, invoices, and billing ledgers are strictly owner-only and enforced on the server.
Can they see other delivery persons' routes?
No. Each login only returns that specific person's assigned stops for the selected shift.
What if a customer isn't home?
The delivery person marks the stop 'Undelivered' and must type a reason (e.g. 'Gate locked, no answer'). The note shows in your owner Delivery Log immediately and the customer is not billed for that delivery.
What about partial deliveries?
The delivered quantity is pre-filled from the customer's subscription and can be adjusted before saving (for instance, taking 500 ml instead of 1 L). The customer's monthly invoice automatically bills only the delivered amount.
Does it work without internet?
The app requires an active mobile data connection when marking a delivery stop so that records sync instantly to the owner dashboard.
Which phones are supported?
Both Android and iPhone devices are fully supported.
How do I turn it on?
Add the employee in the owner web app, then toggle 'Mobile Login → Staff' in Settings. Only employees you authorize can sign in.
